A new outrageous comedy, COLLEGE is the story of three high school seniors (Drake Bell, Andrew Caldwell and Kevin Covais) who visit a local college campus as prospective freshman anticipating the best weekend of their lives. Once there, the rowdiest fraternity on campus (featuring Nick Zano, Gary Owen and Zach Cregger) decides to recruit the boys as pledges, subjecting them to endless humiliations, in return for granting them access to the no-holds-barred college party scene. But once the boys catch the eye of some of the older sorority girls (Haley Bennett, Camille Mana and Natalie Walker), the threatened Frat-boys increase the pre-frosh humiliation and blackmail them by threatening to expose their age. The boys decide to fight back, retaliating with a major revenge scheme that lands them on top. What began as the weekend-from-hell turns into the BEST. WEEKEND. EVER. This film is Rated R for pervasive crude and sexual content, nudity, language, drug and alcohol abuse.
This is taken from a propaganda video put out by an extreme group of Jesus fans to denounce the Mormons. The animation is super cheezy like the Superfriends in the 70’s. I am not familiar with what Mormon’s believe, but I doubt if this is it.
It’s been a long time since I even thought about this video. I had no idea it would be talked about and replicated so much.
To those who it offended, I’m sorry. I didn’t think anyone would see it for more than a bad cartoon inappropriately juxtaposed with bad propaganda. I’m not saying I don’t like Mormons, nor am I saying that what they believe is wrong. I’m not saying all Christians think this sort of thing about Mormons. I am saying, these particular people have created a cartoon about what they think will persuade people to believe Mormons are incorrect in what they believe.
I have a hard time empathizing with those who felt hurt by this cartoon. I envy those who have the ability to have faith in things that can not be proven. I am unable to believe in god as described by any religion I’ve come in contact with.
If you question the content, you should read the Book of Mormon. I have no idea how much of this cartoon you’ll find in there, but this is the one place you can find out for yourself.
For those of you who appreciate this as an absurd piece of propaganda from an extreme fringe group of people who are generally nasty to everyone… you seem to be the minority and should probably find out if you are covered for psychological counseling… it didn’t help me, but it was a relaxing way to spend an hour every week!
I guess tourists will like this video. Legend has it that New Zealand was fished from the sea. Fact has it that New Zealand was the last land mass on earth to be discovered, making New Zealand the youngest country on earth.
